While I am a devotee of crafting, I also do other things. Below, I've compiled blog posts and writings from my other adventures. (Almost every time, there's also been some behind-the-scenes crafting.) Take a gander if you're interested!

DIS Copenhagen - Study Abroad in Scandinavia

During a wondrous summer studying abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark, I was a student blogger. I documented my experiences learning about sustainability and urban planning in Scandinavia.

Semester in the West
The adventure that inspired the simultaneous hat series. An environmental studies field semester where twenty Whitman classmates and I covered 11,000 miles in 15 states in the US and Mexico to learn about public lands issues. We camped for 90 nights and witnessed amazing sunrises, met people doing inspiring conservation work, and learned so, so much. And we all took turns updating the blog!

Whitman Internship Grant
I had the opportunity to intern for Canopy, a community urban forestry nonprofit in my hometown, and I wrote a blog post about my experience.
